Photo tiles are shipped with two circular self-adhesive discs for super easy hanging and re-positioning. The instructions are included on the foam border that protects the tile during shipping and are repeated below with some additional tips.
- Find the enclosed pouch with the two adhesive discs, one a magnet (with white backing) and a second a metal disc (with clear backing).
- Peel the white backing off the magnet and place the adhesive side onto the back-center of your tile (see right).
At this point you can attach the tile to any ferrous metal surface (e.g. a refrigerator). To mount the tile on any other surface, continue with the next steps. - Peel the clear backing off the metal disc and place it on the wall (or attach the metal disc to the attached magnet and peel the adhesive off, to make it easier to align the tile with others)
- Mount, level and re-position as needed.
The metal disc adhesive is strong, but can be re-positioned, and won’t harm a standard wall. Ferrous metal walls will hold the tile on their own with only the magnet attached to the back of the tile.
Note: The metal disc adhesive is sensitive to the texture of the wall. If the texture of the wall is too coarse it may not hold properly. Please avoid hanging photo tiles on coarsely textured walls.
