Because of differences in the print size you choose and a photo’s shape (set in your camera), you may find that important parts of some photos will be cropped. Since we print and crop prints exactly as shown on the print builder screen, you should review each photo to ensure each one fits the selected print size. To check cropping follow these steps, depending on whether you are using a mobile app, or are using our web site:
In the mobile apps:
Please open your print project and you should see a yellow box overlaying each photo (if not click REVIEW CROP in the lower right corner). Anything outside of the yellow box will be cut from your image when it is printed, so scroll down and check each photo to ensure nothing important will be cropped. To fix individual prints, do one of these things:
- Select a different size to find one that includes the cropped area, or
- Click the photo and when edit screen opens, drag the photo to a position where important parts are not cropped, and click DONE.
On the web site:

Note: on snapfish.com, a BEST FIT flag appears next to sizes that have little or no cropping. This feature not yet available in UK, IE, AU, or NZ. - Click the photo and when the cropping lines show, drag the photo to a position where important parts are not cropped, and click DONE EDITING.
