We offer three ways to share your albums and you make your choice in the popup that appears when you click the SHARE icon (screens shown below). The link on the upper right of the popup lets you choose between the three methods.
- Share by email (with restricted photo access)
- Share by link (with unrestricted photo access)
- Share on Facebook (with unrestricted photo access)
Share by email
When you share by email, your friends receive an email about the shared album. The recipients must have or create an account with the email that you have used for them and log in to view the album (screen below).
Note: If your recipients forward your email to others, they will also be able to view your shared photos, provided they have or create an account.
When sharing by email, we have provided a message to your recipients, but you can change edit the text in the window. You can also use the Address Book option to select from your saved email addresses. Click the Address book link, and click the check-mark box next to each address, then click SHARE when ready to send your message. Also note on the address book screen: if you notice an email address that needs to be corrected, just click the pencil icon to change it, or click the trash can icon to delete it.
Note: the sharing email may land in your recipients Promotions (in Gmail) or Junk/spam folders. If your friends can't find the email, ask them to check those folders.
Share with a link
Clicking the link icon on the popup displays the screen below. Copy the web link in the box and send it to whomever you want to share the album with.
You can use the link in an email, a text, or any messaging or social media service to share the album. Anyone with access to the link can view the shared album.
When done, click the CLOSE button to remove the popup and return to your album.
Note: If anyone that you have shared photos with like them, they only need to sign into their account to add them to their account automatically. This means anyone with this link can view your photos and use them in any projects, as well.
Clicking the Facebook icon on the popup displays the screen below. A Facebook screen opens for you to log in and share the album.
When done, click the CLOSE button to remove the popup and return to your album.
