Features and limitations
What are the requirements to use the Snapfish Apps?
The Snapfish apps support the most popular software versions (minimum is iOS 10). If you are experiencing difficulties with the app, please update your software to the latest version available.
Where can I get the Snapfish mobile apps?
The app is available in the App Store on iTunes.
Can I preview the photos before printing?
A preview is displayed within the editing view to show how prints will cropped.
Can I start an order on my mobile device and finish on the website or vice versa?
Now you can continue your card projects and most single-surface projects, like canvases, posters and tiles on either the app or the web. Within the app, you'll find these projects on your Saved Projects screen under the APP tab. On the website, projects started in the mobile app are indicated with a mobile icon on the Projects page and support for more project types is coming soon!
Note: If you start a project in the app, and then edit on the website, some features will be available that can still allow you to make edits back in the app. For example if you add a text box on the web, it can be edited again in the app. But if you add embellishments in the web, the project will only be editable on the website.
Multi-page projects started in the app currently cannot be competed through the website (or vice versa). These include books and calendars. However, within the app you can access your web projects and open/edit them in your browser. Just go to the Saved Projects screen, and click "WEB" to see your projects. Clicking "Continue in Browser" takes you to the login screen, and once you've logged in, you can edit the project.
Can I see my device orders in my account history on the website and resubmit a mobile print order?
You can now view mobile orders in your account history, but currently only cards can be continued or re-ordered through the website.
Can I copy or delete albums and photos?
Yes, you can now copy and delete photos or albums in the app. Simply select the photo or album, by tapping on the small tick in the top right corner of the photo (its color will change to blue, to confirm the photo or album has been selected). Then tap EDIT to select an editing option. Tap DELETE to remove the photo or album, or tap ADD TO which adds the photos to an existing or new album.
Can I view my friend's shared albums?
Yes! In the Photos area of the app, select Snapfish from the top menu and then tap the "Show Friends Albums" tab on the right side of your Snapfish albums screen.
Can I change my country setting in the app?
Sorry, that option is no longer available within the app, but you can change the country setting on your device if you want to use the app in another country. Learn more.
What happened to accessing Google Photos?
Access to Google Photos was temporarily disabled, but has been restored, so you can once again upload Google Photos to your account in the app. If you still see Google Photos as being unavailable, please update your app to the latest version.
Problems
How can I contact you?
If you have problems with an order, please tap Live Chat for immediate on the Help & Contact Us menu.
I accidentally deleted my project: can I get it restored?
Yes, you can, but you will have to contact us to get that done. Please contact us via Live Chat, and we will restore your project if it's been less than 30 days since you deleted it.
How do I know I have the most current mobile app?
Your device should warn you when an update is available, and when you open the app, you should get a notice about the update. If you see this in either case, visit the App Store on iTunes or for the latest version. The version you are using is shown at the bottom of the Help & Contact Us page.
Why can't I see other albums on my mobile device?
With the iPhone/iPad app, swipe down to see your other albums on your mobile device.
