Which upload is right for you?
We offer three web upload options: Express Upload, Basic Upload, and QuickUpload.
- Express Upload (for PC and some Macs):
This is our fastest and easiest tool, perfect for uploading multiple photos to your account at once. There's no download required, and you can even order prints or share your photos while they're uploading. Please note that this method is not recommended for PowerPC Mac users at this time. Instead we recommend zipping your jpeg files and uploading them using the Basic upload method below.
- Basic Upload (for PC or Mac):
This is our one-by-one upload tool. It's best for users on a slower internet connection. It can also be used to upload zipped files, so long as the files contain only jpeg files.
- QuickUpload (for PC only):
This is our tool for uploading both photos and videos. Please note that you'll need a Snapfish Video subscription to upload and store videos to your account.
If you prefer to download software to your computer, you can also try these options:
- PictureMover for PCs:
PictureMover is great for uploading hundreds of photos at one time. You can also connect directly to your camera to make upload even easier.
- iPhoto Exporter for Macs:
If you use iPhoto on a Mac, this plug-in is ideal. Simply download and install the free application, and you're ready to start uploading your photos directly from iPhoto.
In addition we can upload photos to your account in several ways
- If you have rolls of traditional film:
Mail your film to Snapfish and order prints. We'll upload digital versions of the photos to your account.
Learn more about sending in film.
- If you have a photo CD or digital memory card:

- While your photos are uploading, you can email or share them with friends without disrupting your upload. Use the email, link sharing, or social network links at the right of the page and follow the prompts to start sharing.
- You can also order prints of your photos while they're uploading without disrupting the upload. Check the "add these prints to cart" box at right to add all photos in your upload to the cart. You can modify your order once upload is complete.
- Once all of your photos have been uploaded, you'll be taken to a new page. From there, you can view your uploaded photos, share your album, upload more, or order prints of your photos.
